"To love means to open ourselves to the negative as well as the positive-

-to grief, sorrow, and disappointment as well as to joy, fulfillment, and an intensity of consciousness we did not know was possible before."

We avoid feeling vulnerable and don't always want to acknowledge the negative feelings we may hold.  More often than not we find ourselves stuck in the past or find that our minds are more concerned about our future.  Both can lead to suffering and feelings of emptiness and hopelessness.  When we learn to live in the present moment we gain access to the tools and skills we need to heal. Living mindfully allows us to have our thoughts, words and actions all line up.  I want to help you find the courage to be compassionate with yourself.  Everyone has their own unique perspective of their world and existence.  It is my hope to try and understand your experience.  It is a privilege to be a witness as you find your path to the present and a more fulfilling life.
